Office Refurbishment & M&E Installations

TNS Contractors were approached by Colchester Kawasaki on a design and build basis on three occasions.

Phase one – 2017

Our remit was to design and install an industrial yet modern style electrical installation. We
opted for galvanised steel containment on show, with LED panel fittings suspended from
high level cable tray. Lux levels are made up from discrete high bay fittings and socket
outlets are hidden under desks and counters away from the general public.

Phase two – 2019

Colchester Kawasaki built and old street inside their building, containing separate shops, a
barbers and even a cinema room.
Our remit was to design and install an industrial, yet vintage style electrical installation to
match the vintage street. Light fittings where designed and fabricated onsite, with
galvanised steel conduit and vintage style LED filament lamps. The result created a
vintage setting, but with the energy efficiency of modern technology.

Phase three – 2021

Perhaps our biggest single project for Colchester Kawasaki to date, a complete office
refurbishment. A full CAD design was undertaken by TNS prior to starting the office
refurbishment, enabling CK to visualise and alter the design to suit their exact
requirements.

The refurbishment was completed under a strict deadline of 6 weeks. With a minimum of
ten TNS staff members working at any given time, in order to minimise disruption to the
operation of business.

The office is now modern, sharp and unique allowing CK to invite customers in to a space
they remember and talk about.
