Project Overview:
TNS were engaged to provide the full electrical infrastructure and services package for the newly developed station building and surrounding areas at Harlow Mill. The works were designed and installed in line with Network Rail and Greater Anglia requirements, ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards.
Scope of Works:
- Supply and installation of new feeder pillar and associated distribution equipment serving the new station building
- Bonding and earthing carried out in accordance with Network Rail traction bonding and OLE drop zone requirements
- Installation of new cable management systems (CMS) to support containment throughout the station
- Provision of small power and general lighting to the new station building
- Installation of car park lighting columns with energy-efficient LED luminaires to improve safety and accessibility for passengers
Project Highlights:
- Works completed within a live railway environment with strict adherence to rail safety protocols and possession planning
