Greater Anglia –  Norwich JSOP M&E Refurbishment

Project Overview:

TNS were engaged to undertake a full M&E refurbishment at Norwich JSOP, delivering major upgrades to the building’s mechanical, electrical and public health services. The project included new heating and VRF systems, comprehensive electrical and data installations, refurbished welfare facilities and sensitively designed external heritage lighting to meet listed building requirements.

Scope of Works:

  • Full mechanical and electrical refurbishment of the building
  • Retention of existing boilers with installation of a new heating system, including gas safety valve interlock
  • Supply and installation of a new VRF system
  • Complete electrical rewire, including new distribution equipment
  • Installation of new cold and hot water services, including refurbishment of WC and shower facilities
  • Installation of external lighting in accordance with listed building and heritage requirements
  • Installation of new data and IT infrastructure, including CCTV and an addressable L1 fire detection system
