Project Overview:
TNS were engaged to supply and install a new external lighting system for the car park at Audley End Train Station, as part of Greater Anglia’s wider improvement works to enhance passenger safety and security.
Scope of Works:
- Installation of new distribution equipment and feeder pillar
- Supply and installation of new lighting columns with Dextra Opus LED heads, including emergency variants for safe access and egress
- Associated cabling, containment, and terminations
- Full testing, commissioning, and certification in line with BS 7671 and GA requirements
- O&M documentation, including post-installation lux surveys and NICEIC certification
Project Highlights:
- Energy-efficient LED lighting installed to reduce energy use and future maintenance
- Fully compliant with GA’s lighting specification and standards
- Works delivered in a live station environment, carefully managed to avoid disruption to passengers and car park operations
