Project Overview:

TNS delivered the full electrical and data installation for a large cycle shelter at Greater Anglia’s Cambridge North Train Station. The project was commissioned to improve passenger security and reduce cycle theft, working alongside other contractors responsible for fencing and protective measures.

Scope of Works:

• Supply and installation of a new Altron comms cabinet
• Installation of 36no. Bosch IP CCTV cameras integrated into the new CMS system
• New distribution equipment and submains to support data and security systems
• Installation of fibre optic cabling and full fibre testing
• New feeder pillars and small power provision for data equipment
• Emergency lighting installation to provide safe access and compliance
• Certification and commissioning including NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificate, Emergency Lighting Certificate, and post-lux level survey
