TNS was tasked with a comprehensive re-wire and electrical installation at Weeley Train Station following Greater Anglia’s requirement to demolish a dilapidated station building.

TNS was engaged to provide a full design-and-build package for the installation of a new lighting system over the newly formed gateline at Stansted Airport Train Station. The works were carried out in strict compliance with Greater Anglia’s M&E Specification, ensuring the system achieved the required lux levels while also maximising energy efficiency.

TNS was appointed to enhance the durability and cleanliness of recently refurbished back-of-house areas at Stansted Airport Train Station. Following refurbishment works carried out by others, the painted wall surfaces quickly became marked and difficult to maintain. To address this, TNS supplied and installed hygienic PVC wall cladding to the lower half of the walls, creating a robust, wipeable surface suitable for the high-traffic environment.

The project involved the complete refurbishment of the existing water treatment room, which was an uninsulated prefabricated concrete structure. To improve thermal performance and maintain a more consistent internal temperature for the water treatment services, 50mm thermal insulation boards were installed to the external walls and finished with a durable three-coat render system

TNS was engaged to deliver the complete M&E refurbishment of newly constructed public WC facilities at Arriva Rail London’s Seven Sisters Train Station, including male, female, and DDA-accessible toilets.

TNS were appointed under the CRE role for the full design and construction of a new lighting system along the drivers’ walkway at Leybridge Station, serving Orient Train Care Depot. The project aimed to improve driver safety and operational efficiency through enhanced illumination while minimising energy use and light spill.

TNS were engaged to deliver a turnkey electrical package at Norwich Crown Point Depot to support Greater Anglia’s sustainability and modernisation programme. The project combined external lighting and EV charging infrastructure to enhance depot operations and future-proof facilities.

TNS were engaged to provide the full electrical infrastructure and services package for the newly developed station building and surrounding areas at Harlow Mill.

TNS delivered the full electrical and data installation for a large cycle shelter at Greater Anglia’s Cambridge North Train Station. The project was commissioned to improve passenger security and reduce cycle theft, working alongside other contractors responsible for fencing and protective measures.

TNS were appointed to deliver electrical services for the new cycle shelter at Greater Anglia’s Bury St Edmunds Train Station. This scheme formed part of Greater Anglia’s commitment to improving passenger facilities while respecting the heritage sensitivities of the site.

TNS were engaged to supply and install a new external lighting system for the car park at Audley End Train Station, as part of Greater Anglia’s wider improvement works to enhance passenger safety and security.

TNS was tasked with the installation of electrical infrastructure upgrades at Tottenham Hale Train Station

TNS were appointed to provide the electrical services package for the installation of new drivers’ access control gates and turnstiles at Chingford Station and Depot. The works formed part of wider upgrades to improve security and controlled staff access to operational areas.

The project involved the refurbishment and redesign of the existing porch area at the BPA Thames site. The original porch structure had developed significant issues, including roof leaks at the junction between the main building and porch area, as well as visible structural movement that rendered it unsafe.

TNS were appointed to deliver the installation of stainless steel water bottle filling stations across MTR’s multiple high-profile stations, including Goodmayes, Manor Park, Forest Gate, Hayes & Harlington, West Drayton, Langley, Stratford, Southall, Abbey Wood, Ilford, Ealing Broadway, and Romford

The project formed part of a wider site regeneration initiative undertaken by the British Pipeline Agency (BPA) to modernise and improve staff facilities. As part of these upgrades, we were commissioned to design and construct a new on-site kitchenette extension, providing employees with a safe, comfortable, and modern space to enjoy their breaks.

TNS were appointed to deliver enabling works for the installation of new JC Decaux advertising signage across a number of key Greater Anglia stations, including Stansted Airport, Cambridge, Bishop’s Stortford, Chelmsford, Colchester, Shenfield and Tottenham Hale

TNS successfully completed the installation of an industrial fire door at BPA Epping, providing a secure and compliant connection between the existing building and the new extension.

The project involved ground regeneration works following completion of building activities around the new extension. The area was left uneven and untidy after construction, so remedial works were undertaken to restore and enhance the surrounding landscape.
