Electrical Installation

The restaurant courtyard area at The Mitre Hotel was experiencing regular flooding due to rising river levels, resulting in significant damage to the existing wiring and lighting. TNS Contractors responded by designing and installing a resilient “flood-proof” electrical system.

To achieve this, we installed submersible H07RN-8-F cables within galvanised steel conduits, which were buried within the external wall fabric. This setup supplied new IP68 LED lighting fixtures, ensuring their durability and water resistance.

Works comprised of:

• Stripping out and disposing of existing services and containment
• Implementing appropriate containment systems
• Designing the flood-proof electrical installation
• Installing IP68 LED lighting fixtures and associated wiring
• Conducting thorough certification and commissioning processes to ensure compliance and functionality.
