Project Overview: Tottenham Hale Train Station Lighting and EV Charging Installation
TNS was tasked with the installation of electrical infrastructure upgrades at Tottenham Hale Train Station. This included the installation of 4 new lighting columns, using Abacus raise-and-lower circular flange-plated systems, designed to provide presence illuminance and absence dimming in compliance with industry standards
In addition 2 EO Genius 2 EV chargers were installed, seamlessly integrated with NCP’s management system to enable smooth operation for users. The project also required load monitoring to confirm available capacity, and the installation of a new sub-main supply along the length of the platform, using existing containment systems, with work completed out-of-hours (OOH) to minimise disruption.
A new GRP feeder pillar was also installed, housing the new distribution equipment required to power the upgrades. The project involved RITA form applications to ensure all compliance and regulatory standards were met.
